md anderson cancer center
In partnership with the Center for Health Communication, the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is leading the unprecedented "Be Well Baytown" Initiative. This initiative aims to reduce the overall cancer diagnoses in the greater Baytown region through extensive efforts. These efforts include teaming up with local organizations to distribute fresh produce, installing public sun safety stations, and educating everyday families on how to fulfill a healthy lifestyle. Using this region as a field-test, once proven successful, our efforts will then be iterated across the United States.
